Rehearsal for Life

A creative programme tackling the problems of under achievers and social exclusion in schools, aimed at 11 to 16 year olds. A major programme for the company for the last three years, Rehearsal for Life offers a creative approach to dealing with children not achieving their true potential and those at risk of social exclusion. The programme takes place in school and uses drama based techniques to provide young underachievers with the confidence and self esteem to achieve their full potential and those at risk with meaningful alternatives to deter them from becoming involved in crime and anti-social behaviour. It focuses on developing emotional literacy, key life skills and improves individual learning and performance. The Department for Education and Skills has been favourably evaluated Rehearsal for Life and from our own evaluation we know that it has been very successful in reducing the number of permanent exclusions by 100% amongst participants in some schools.
