Theatre Projects

Proper Job produces high quality theatre using the biomechanical technique.

Our productions tour to community venues including schools and normally include full costume, impressive sets, lighting, music and are fully blacked out to provide a memorable experience for audience and participants.

We aim to maximise the full participative potential of performance in theatre through our drama workshops exploring specific issues such as citizenship, local democracy, stereotyping, sex and relationships and substance misuse.

Our workshop activity focuses on improving pupil’s awareness, listening and speaking skills alongside raising confidence and emotional literacy. By involving them in theatre they are encouraged to make decisions, and then experience the effects these decisions have on their lives.
