Inspired by H.G. Wells’ novel of the same title, The Shape of Things to Come was a poignant look at the history of the twentieth century and the history of the future, a future seen through the eyes of Bertie, 57 and just diagnosed with Diabetes, before he loses his sight.

The Shape of Things to Come is Proper Job’s touring one man show. In Spring 2015 and Autumn 2017 we toured the show to numerous venues across the UK.
