We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual with a positive outlook. The right person will be dynamic and have the ability to easily create rapport with a diverse range of individuals.

Dr. CHLOË WHITEHEAD - CEO

Chloë is chief executive of Proper Job and has been working in the arts for over 30 years. In 2005 she was instrumental in the founding of Proper Job as a charity, and she has been the leading force in the development of the company for the last 20 years. Chloë is line manager for operations teams and has successfully managed the growth of the LAB Project in Manchester, Calderdale, Doncaster and Wakefield.

In 2018 she received a PHD for her work on Proper Job’s theatrical technique ‘Biomechanics’ and in 2012 she co-directed the Royal Philharmonic Society award-winning production Cycle Song as part of the cultural

Olympiad. Chloë also co-directed the regional tour of the Monster Trilogy 2014-2018, and was an actor and choreographer for The Trial 2020-21 and Beowulf for Kirklees Year of Music 2023.
